Religious Conflict In The Middle East Revisited

Religious Conflict In The Middle East

Last week on Nov. 18 I wrote a post by the same name, Religious Conflict in the Middle East. The choice of topic was sincerely from the heart, like I hope it comes out there in my writing. The only thing that I did in terms of SEO strategy was to pick the title, to be a keyword which it seemed to me I had a chance of ranking well. Theoretically that is — I mean these kinds of subjects which have such an immense quantity of material written daily, a subject in the news, I wasn’t actually expecting very much. I certainly wasn’t “attacking” the keyword, like you could accuse me of with this post, (and you might be right). Not with only one post on such a keyword.

DIY SEO

DIY SEO stands for Do It Yourself Search Engine Optimization. The group with which I work has endeavored throughout the years to develop a WordPress based script which is SEO effective, so that WP blogs will rank well. Why buy Google ads if you have a blog script which will get you to the same place much cheaper? The development of the script has evolved over several versions, and last month and this month we came out with a new updated script (for WP 3). I was pleased to see that after that post I came in #29 out of 8.1M. And when you typed the keyword in quotes, like this “Religious Conflict in the Middle East”, which tells Google just to return sites which have the “Phrase”, that is, the words in that order, I came in #4 out of 243,000.

Here are the screencasts:

Google Top 10

They obviously didn’t remain there until now, because you can’t get sticky on a keyword like that with only one post. But I was impressed, and not with myself, rather with the author of the script, the leader of our group, who supplied us with the script just the week before. To him I say “Hat’s Off (excuse the expression) to our leader.”

It seems to me appropriate not to say names of people or organizations just yet, because on the site they list the names of the people in the group, and my name is not there. That’s because I haven’t yet handed in my portrait nor my autobiography lol. I hope maybe this month, stay tuned for more, I will reveal to you everything.
