Similar to what I wrote in previous posts, this Chanuka Menora with all of its parts and the elephant and the carriage were hand-made by the artist from gold, silver, and precious stones.
Elephant and Menora Carriage
Maybe we can call this piece the ‘Elephant and the Menora Carriage’. See the details and outstanding craftmanship.
The elephant carries the jug of oil on his back, and pulls a carriage which holds the menora inside.
On the side of the carriage he inscribed a picture of the Maccabes victory in the war, and on top a picture of Yehudis (Judith) when she was miraculously successful in cutting off the head of the enemy commander.
